Experienced

Lilliana Chacón — Ms. Lili — is the founder and lead guide at Guaria Montessori. With over 30 years of experience working with infants through school-age children, she brings a depth of knowledge and warmth that shapes every part of the program.

Multicultural

Born in Costa Rica and also a Spanish national, Ms. Lili brings a rich multicultural perspective to her work. Her career in education began in Costa Rica, where she co-founded and led Montessori Tortuga Verde (1993–2019) — a Montessori school that served families for over 25 years. She holds a postgraduate degree in Education Administration and a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, both from the Universidad de Costa Rica.

Author of the Method

At Guaria, Ms. Lili brings together her Montessori training, her multicultural background, and her belief that the earliest years are the most important. She leads with patience, intention, and genuine love for children — creating an environment where every child is seen, known, and gently guided toward their fullest potential.

For Ms. Lili, this work is not a job — it is a vocation. And for the families who choose Guaria, she is the heart of the program.
